For this project, my initial thought regarding decay was through the concept of societal decay, particularly the decay of Black Americans from the days of african rulership to the contemporary view of a Black Americans.

Also possibly the decay of human interaction due to the over usage of phones.

I had a great experience in being able to showcase my work. Overall the piece was well received with minor changes that could further propel the meaning behind the work. My next plan of attack is to implement more blending within the mouth area with the dollar bill print to look more cohesive even though there was a split on whether I should leave it or not. Making the watch more apparent to not emulate a clock would be the next goal given that my intention was not to make the watch come across as a clock. The main concern which will take more processing was further expanding on the artistic side to make the bandage more scattered through my body. Overall the critiques were detailed and were legitimate enough to not stray from the concept.
